Get Premiere Training on a Shoe-String Budget
I have wanted the Conversations With The Masters audio tapes for quite some time, but have been unable to work them into my budget. I got creative and mailed out the following letter to my downline. I even invited my upline to participate. I think a person might even pull in some cautious prospects if they were given this offer.
Dear _________,
Answer: Those who have!
Question: If you wanted to achieve excellence, who should train you? If you wanted to win a marathon, who would you listen to? If you wanted to build a multi-million dollar business?
Nine Network Masters, from a variety of backgrounds and organizations give their guidance from personal experience on audio tape. They have done it, and we can, too! Let's listen, learn and act!
This nine-tape audio cassette package is available through Upline. I have wanted it for months. I cannot afford it, and I didn't get it for Christmas. So I have gotten creative and I want to include you!
Here's the plan. Eight people send me eight dollars each (I am the ninth person), I use the combined money to purchase the cassette package and mail one tape to each participant in the plan. Along with your one tape, you receive the name, address, and phone number of the person to whom you are to forward your tape, along with the name and phone number of the person from whom you should receive your next tape. Each week you listen to one of the masters, send the tape to your designated person, and receive a new tape from the person designated to pass one on to you.
At the end of the ninth week, send the last tape back to me for future access by everyone. For less than the cost of a tank of gas, a pizza, or a Saturday Training, you'll get enough fuel to move your business ahead in the fast lane. Think of it, nine masters who have built multi-million-dollar businesses for a cost to you of about $1.25 each (including postage)! Once we have completed this set, we can get another set. If you liked the tapes, duplicate the idea in your downline! You'll grow your group and end up with a set of great tapes that cost you almost nothing.
I want to start this ASAP, so send me your eight dollars today!
I now have training tapes circulating between 17 participating distributors!

"Does That Mean Yes or No?"
You should know that the more yeses you get throughout your Network Marketing presentation, the easier (and more automatic) your close will be. In fact, if you get enough yeses , you don't need a close at all. The "yes momentum" will carry you through. But how high is the quality of the yeses you're getting? An uh-huh or a maybe is not as good as a yes, certainly, absolutely, definitely, or for sure.
Here's an easy way to get stronger yeses when your prospect gives you weak commitments.
When your prospect responds to your questions repeatedly with maybe, possibly, perhaps, etc., rephrase the same questions and ask them again. If you continue to get weak responses, ask them straight out: "Does that mean yes or no, folks?"
You have a right to know how you're doing each step of your presentation. By asking for minor yes commitments along the way, you can decide if you should continue your presentation or gracefully disqualify them and go on to someone else.

Do Good for Yourself by Doing Good for Others
Consider the ways you and your downline can offer your products, services, or labor to organizations in need-- you'll reap both tangible and intangible returns.
For example, many charitable organizations hold "walks" or "runs" to raise money for a cause, like eradicating a particular disease. Why not participate? I'm coordinating a local team of Rexall distributors to walk in a "Walk for Diabetes" coming up soon, and we can already see some benefits. We're helping combat a serious disease, while we're getting some beneficial exercise, too. That's reason enough to participate. But that's only the beginning.
We're getting to know each other better, as people and not just fellow distributors. We get the chance to tell others about our business as we request donations ("Some of my friends in Rexall and I have gotten together to walk as a team . . . ") and walking with hundreds of other people with similar interests in health gives us many opportunities to share our stories about our products and business. It's a win-win situation for everyone!
Of course, this doesn't apply only to health/nutrition distributors-- any company can find related causes or companies to promote. It can be very cost-effective as well, especially if your involvement is in the form of labor.
Why not give it a try? The least you can gain is a "warm glow" inside. And you just might find a whole new warm market!
