Wow, did I ever like this segment of an article I read in a Newsletter I get from www.entireweb.com<br />

I haven't asked permission to copy it but hoping by giving you a link to their website and a little plug for how much I like their free newsletter they forgive me. If they don't I will certainly delete this posting at their request.


This little bit will challenge the way you think about the sales process.


Maybe it's time to take a different approach. Maybe we need to seriously analyze our sales thinking so we can identify why we're not making more sales. Take a look at the table below and think about your current selling mindset. How would your selling behaviors change if you changed your sales thinking?


- Traditional Sales Mindset: Always deliver a strong sales pitch.

- New Sales Mindset: Stop the sales pitch -- and start a conversation.



- Traditional Sales Mindset: Your central objective is always to close the sale.

- New Sales Mindset: Your central goal is always to discover whether you and your potential client are a good fit.



- Traditional Sales Mindset: When you lose a sale, it's usually at the end of the sales process.

- New Sales Mindset: When you lose a sale, it's usually right at the beginning of the sales process.



- Traditional Sales Mindset: Rejection is a normal part of selling.

- New Sales Mindset: Sales pressure is the only cause of rejection. Rejection should never happen.



- Traditional Sales Mindset: Keep chasing every potential client until you get a yes or a no.

- New Sales Mindset: Never chase a potential client -- you'll only trigger more sales pressure.



- Traditional Sales Mindset: When a prospect offers objections, challenge and/or counter them.

- New Sales Mindset: When a potential client offers objections, uncover the truth behind them.


- Traditional Sales Mindset: If a potential client challenges the value of your product or service, you must defend yourself and explain the value.
- New Sales Mindset: Never defend yourself or what you have to offer -- it only creates more sales pressure.

Well, 5:40AM in the morning in Osaka Japan and I am just getting ready to leave for the Airport. Will go from Itami Airport to Narita Airport in Tokyo, wait around for 5 hours, then go to Vancouver. Home finally for Christmas. Would sure be nice to not have to get on an airplane for a while! :)


Osaka has been great, have MLM software leads all over the place and more than enough systems underway to keep us busy.


Here is a great picture of some of our Japanese team a few weeks ago when we went to a Direct Sales Convention to up our skills through a series of seminars. This pictures is when we took some time out to go have a Souffle in Tokyo!


You Will see the Souffle that Mr. Shibayama, Mr. Nishi, and Mr. Ito and myself all ate. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good!





Our software continues to evolve, the Japanese market is ready, and we have now ported all our new features back to English for our newest client ICE (International Crystal Exchange)

Well, it has been a long time since I wrote about MLM Software and updated our Blogs. I have been crazy busy in a good way, and have told myself I will revive this blog to a daily or so status as soon as I can. Hopefully from today.


I am in Osaka Japan at the Nikko Hotel right now just waiting to finish up some stuff to launch a new Japanese client. Just got back from Australia where we have successfully completed our move from Southport to Surfers Paradise. We have also welcomed a new Software Engineer to our team Glenn Ballaban.


Glenn comes to us with extensive .asp and Microsoft SQL Server experience, as well as a number of years of actual MLM Software experience. He is a welcome addition to our team. Funny part is, he is an out of place Canadian living in Australia with his Australian wife. I myself also reside in Vancouver BC Canada. The world is a small place!


I spent 2 day in Australia hanging venetian blinds. Thought it would only take 20 minutes, but in the end, with modifications necessary, it grew into quite a task. Kinda fun to do some work that is visible in a physical sense compared to software!

Golfing in Australia with the Kangaroos


Very interesting how building this international MLM Software product brings me to experiences that are just unexpected. Golfing in Australia, the first time I have done it and some Kangaroos came to welcome me.


Check out this picture. Good for a giggle. Except for Australians who for them, this is probably quite normal!

Well, business is booming and I have gone back to Japan. Starting this trip off with meeting a few friends in Shizuoka Japan. Shizuoka reminds me a lot of Vancouver, Canada. Friendly people, small city type of atmosphere. It is one of the cleaner cities in Japan and I enjoy spending time here very much.


We went for Soba Today in Shizuoka City. Below is a picture of the fellow making Soba which is a Wheat type of noodle. This picuture he is making the initial dough I believe.
